Gender equality and diversity is for everyone

Gender equality serves both companies, organizations, and society bringing all talents and resources into play. By ensuring equal access to education, employment, and leadership for all we realize the full potential of our workforce and increase productivity and innovation. Studies have shown that companies with a diverse workforce perform better financially and have a higher customer satisfaction. Gender equality also contributes to social justice, democratic participation, and sustainable development.

Gender equality doesn’t mean making everybody the same or favouring some groups over others. It means ensuring that everybody have the same rights, duties, and opportunities, regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity, origin, economic status, religion, sexuality, disability, or other characteristics. It also means recognizing and valuing diversity among people and creating a society where everyone can realize their potential, contribute, and thrive. Gender equality is not just for women, but for everyone.

Strong men – men who are truly role models – don’t need to put down women to make themselves feel powerful.
